In March 2013, I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes Mellitus, more commonly known as Type 2 Diabetes. I haven’t hid from it nor have I denied it, but, I find some part of monitoring my blood glucose levels a bit painful, the prick to get the sample.
I’ve done better in many other areas of educating myself and changing my habits. I don’t eat as much for comfort, I’ve shooed away fried foods, and I try to eat healthy by baking, broiling, grilling, and using the Crock-Pot to cook with.
Yes I do occasionally get french fries and fast food, but not so much without a job. (Though I am still going to school online to become a Journalist–through Ashford University).
But, every morning and evening, I am supposed to prick my finger and check my level, which is very hard to wrap my brain and soul around to accomplish this task that is part of my new normal.
And somehow, I can’t prick my finger.
I don’t know what is blocking me from doing this simple task, and it’s driving me crazy.
Can I just have a bit of liberty to speak?
I just said Goodbye to Facebook.
Yes, I dropped it.
They accused me of spamming, and I answered them by saying “So Long…”
When businesses treat people like dirt, I tend to distance myself from them. Maybe it is for the best that Facebook be abandoned. They let me down by being so porous in security that it’s possible for any account to be hacked.
If I were running Facebook, some heads would have rolled, and the servers would be robustly secured and firewalled.
And if Zuckerberg is reading this, I meant what I said, “I wouldn’t return to Facebook until the servers are more secure than they are now. Judging from the abilities of hackers, that return is not likely.”
Sorry, My Friends, But if you want to come over to Google Plus, You can see me there, and on twitter, but no more Facebook. I don’t trust them, Not anymore.

What is my vision? What should I write about? How should I present my work when I do have it? What will the future be like?
Those are questions anyone has thought about from time to time, just not necessarily in that particular order.
So what can I do to present a lively blog?
I can present a viewpoint of the world…or whatever topics I hold near and dear to my heart…
Or I can just be me.
What projects would you like me to work on?
Well, one way to find out, and that’s to make it possible to contact me?
